 * Hi [@vinnymickey](https://wordpress.org/support/users/vinnymickey/),
 * thanks for your message and using my plugin!
 * At this moment there is no export functionality, yet. I can and will create this,
   and can start on this today. However, my time to develop is pretty limited but
   I hope to finish it within a week.
 * I’ll post here when it finishes 🙂
 * Kind regards,

 * TY so much, would it be as simple as export database and import to another WP
   site using your plugin?
 * I was looking around file manager via my cpanel to see if I can find where it
   stored something related to a CVS file but no luck.
 * TY been using your plugin for a growing glossary I been working on for my sites
   and would be nice to export and import for full setups on new sites…

 * Hi [@vinnymickey](https://wordpress.org/support/users/vinnymickey/),
 * if you are familiair with phpMyAdmin, it’s pretty simple. You can export the
   two tables `wp_name_directory` and `wp_name_directory_name` and Import them in
   your new website.
 * The prefix name of the tables (`wp_`) could differ though, depending on how you
   installed it.
 * There are plenty of tutorials online which can help you with export and import
   of tables.
 * I hope this helps, otherwise, I’ll be working on the export option.
 * Kind regards,
 * Jeroen Peters

 * Interesting and i am always learning and find my way around quickly. Yes I have
   been in myphpadmin. Would I just export the whole directory as SQL and import
   it in the same are on new site? (overwrite what new setup has by default?)
 * Also should i rename prefix of SQL file before import?

 * hmmm uploaded and renamed the SQL file but they appeared as same prefix as downloaded.
   I also tried export as CVS and imported it and both didn’t work what am I missing?
 * The CVS file looks good when opened in excel but didn’t come out when I used
   short code on new site.
 * I think SQL was wrong way because the code inside the file, correct?….Should
   the CVS have worked?

 * Hi Vinny,
 * you can download an export from phpMyAdmin on your old site’s database. When
   you export the two tables I mentioned earlier, please also select “Add DROP TABLE
   statements”.
 * Please export as SQL file, not as CSV.
 * Then, you can import the downloaded file in the phpMyAdmin of your new site.
   In phpMyAdmin there is also an import option. Import the file there.
 * So do not use the import function of the plugin, just the phpMyadmins.
 * I hope this is a bit clearer. Maybe this will help: [http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin-import-table](http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin-import-table)

 * Hey [@vinnymickey](https://wordpress.org/support/users/vinnymickey/),
 * I just released version 1.8.0, that one has an Export functionality. The way
   I tested it, I could just import it on another site.
 * After you update to version 1.8.0, you should have the export functionality.
   Hopefully you are willing to upgrade and let me know if this works for you?
 * Kind regards,
 * Jeroen Peters
