# export does not provide csv

 * Hi, i am trying to export views so i can upload on the updated / new site. I 
   only get numbers in an url but not a document in excel.

 * I’m not sure if it is a download issue. What you should see is a CSV file which
   might just display in the browser. This would be in the format comma-separated
   numbers including the post ID and the number of views. If you have this as .csv
   format then you can use that to open in Excel
