 * Hi,
 * I’m trying to export to Excel with no luck. Every row is inserted to one and
   the same cell. Is Excel expecting semicolons instead of commas maybe? Because
   the in data contained a couple of semicolons (;) and on those semicolons the
   cells did split up.
 * Maybe you could escape the semicolons in the in data? Or is that something that
   should be asked of contact form 7?

 * You’ll need to do this:
 * – Open a new file in Excel
    – File -> Import – Select your .csv file – Excel
   should give you the option to indicate that comma as the delimiter

 * Thanks but for some reason neither me or my client gets that question. When googling
   i see others getting that little wizard too.
 * Is it possible for the exported file to have this line at the top?
    `sep=,` That
   seem to solve it. Found in [this thread](http://superuser.com/questions/407082/easiest-way-to-open-csv-with-commas-in-excel).

 * Interesting. That’s not part of the CSV spec AFAIK. I’ll have to see if it is
   recognized by all Excel versions.
