 * **Hi guys!**
 * The option: ‘Layouts > Export > Download Layout’, doesn´t work correctly.
 * I know that option (JSON), because I´m teaching a course for Udemy: ‘How to design
   a website wisely’. And I’m using your official page builder (+ SiteOrigin Widgets
   Bundle), and unofficial add-ons + compatible plugin recommended by Greg on the
   blog.
 * But already in a class (course) talk about this option and I had to say that
   it worked badly.
 * Sometimes, it would download JSON file if there were few rows (5 rows) and sometimes
   if there were more rows (6 or 7) it would not download it. But really the bug
   is worse, because today I check it again and I have seen that it depends on the
   WordPress theme.
 * – In the Oxygen theme, from AlienWP, it allows me to download the JSON file but
   only if I have few rows (in particular I checked it with 2), however it does
   not allow me to download it with more rows (for example with 6).
 * – In the Primer theme, of GoDaddy, it does not allow me to download the JSON
   file regardless of the number of rows it has, it doesn´t allow.
 * If you can review it… and I can inform my Udemy students of your new achievements…
 * Greetings!

 * Hi Joan,
 * I’m very sorry to hear about the issues you’re having with exporting layouts.
   In the past when we’ve had users report this kind of issue it was as a result
   of the server closing the connection – be it due to something like mod_security
   incorrectly flagging the result or the length of the result is too large (the
   latter being less likely).
 * Can you please try exporting the layout again and when it fails, can you please
   send me a copy of your browser’s console? Please refer to [this guide](https://www.wickedlysmart.com/hfjsconsole/)
   on how to access your browser console. The console should contain an error code
   that should give us a better idea why this is happening.

 * Hi [@alexgso](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alexgso/)!
 * I have already checked it, I don´t know if the [capture](https://imgur.com/a/eXhmD)
   I sent you is what you are looking for…?

 * Hi Joan,
 * Thanks. A 503 error rules out the server closing connection but it does suggest
   there’s a possible plugin conflict occurring.
 * Would you mind running a quick plugin conflict test?
 * You can start by disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the
   issue. You’ll need to [clear all your caches](https://codex.wordpress.org/I_Make_Changes_and_Nothing_Happens)
   after disabling your plugins. So just to confirm, double check if the issue is
   coming up while all other plugins are disabled.
 * If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until
   the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing
   the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing
   the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
 * You could also try temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty
   Sixteen. Default WordPress themes are generally very light weight which lowers
   the chance that they’ll conflict with plugins, so they’re a good way to test
   if your original theme is the source of the issue.

 * Hi alexgso!
 * **I checked all the plugins and the one that gives problems is ‘[Wordfence Security](https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence/)‘**.
   In fact, when I deactivated it, I was able to download numerous rows of my Home
   in localhost. No problem to download Layout.
 * This plugin is the one I like most at the security level (and I have recommended
   Udemy’s students), but **I don´t know which option I have activated that prevents
   downloading Layout.** Could you investigate what option is causing that problem?
 * I would like to continue with ‘Wordfence Security’ because it does a great job
   keeping me informed of many alerts and updates plugins, theme and WP system.
   Besides that it can be updated automatically.
 * Greetings and thanks for the suggestions!
    _Pd: When I know which ‘Wordfence
   Security’ option is causing that problem, I will update course class in Udemy._

 * Hi Joan,
 * Please open up a tab and prepare to export the page builder layout – don’t get“
   blocked” just yet. Open up another tab and navigate to **WP Admin > WordFence
   > Live Traff**, and filter by blocked traffic. Please try exporting the layout
   and when you get blocked, go back to the Wordfence tab and press the whitelist
   param from Firewall button.

 * (it won’t look exactly like that but that should give you a rough idea of what
   it’ll look like)

 * Hello alexgso!
 * Great contribution! I should have come earlier to ask, instead of believing it
   was a SiteOrigin bug. I had been dragging this problem for a long time and giving
   me bad advice, but since I’ve been at Udemy I have taken my job and that of WordPress
   programmers more seriously.
 * As soon as I can update that class, I hope before ‘Black Friday’, we all play
   a lot.
 * Greetings and thank you very much, I thought that I would not be able to do it
   but it is easy when you are a good teacher too 🙂
