# Export problem

 * I would like to use the Flamingo plugin but when I export the data to .csv the
   special characters are not exported correctly, example words: João, Pão, Bahía…
   
   I believe the UTF8 encoding is missing.
 * In addition, when I use the “textarea” field in the file export, it breaks into
   lines when I use the enter key.

 * I have a similar problem. The CSV file is a bit messy. I use <text><email><textarea
   >, but the csv export is impossible to order because every enter in the <taxtarea

 * I also struggled with exports from Flamingo, especially characters like é, ñ,
   ü,… I found a fix for this (I’m using macOS).
 * Import the .csv exported from Flamingo in Excel and on the first screen of the
   wizard select **encoding UTF-8** (default is Macintosh).
