# Export some plugin settings

 * Hi all
 * Is there any plugin that can export other plugin settings?
 * Right now when I need to do this I go to DB table wp_options and just copy the
   plugin settings I need.
 * I wonder if there’s a plugin that can do that…

 * That’s a great idea, but I don’t see that it’s been done. Unfortunately, there’s
   no standard way for plugins to save their settings, so an export plugin would
   need to have its own database of how each plugin does it. I don’t think anyone
   has wanted to take that on.
