Exporting Theme?

    Hi there,

    I’ve been looking for a way to export a new theme that I’ve customized on a sandbox site over to the live one. It’s only the thing that I need to bring over. Somebody suggested this plugin. Could someone confirm whether or not there is a way to choose specific things to export? Or does it export everything?

    Hi goluboy

    The plugin has advanced features that allow you to exclude parts of the backup.

    Could I suggest that you take a backup that excludes all the options that you don’t require (such as the pages, posts, database, plugins etc), then load the .wpress backupfile to traktor.servmask.com. This is a tool that will allow you to see the contents of the file (we don’t retain a copy) and you can ascertain if the backup is suitable to import to your new site.
