# Exporting XML help

 * Hello guys,
 * I’m trying to export my site so i can import it onto my new site, but when i 
   click export it just opens a page displaying all the text from the xml file but
   won’t let me download it at all, on i also just get a black screen if trying 
   on my mobile. Is there anything anybody i can do? I can’t get passed this process.
 * I provide more detials, links etc if needed.

 * Cheers but no joy, when I right click and save as it tries to save it as an HTML
   file, not an XML file.

 * Okay that was unfortunate.
 * I just took a look at [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/)
   and it looks promising. But if you start a new export in the plugin settings,
   I would recommend to click the right “customize…” button, in order to get all
   fields.
 * As a little extra, you can edit that in excel / open office before importing.
 * With [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-import/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-import/)
   you should be able to import than.

 * Cheers pal, I’m still getting and results, I have manged to sort out though thank
   you, I ended up exporting database via phpadmin. Nice 1 though pal, much appreciated.
