Extending the Redirection Plugin

Hi,
I want to setup a validation for redirections and permalinks. My problem is, that when I name a category with the same name as a post, I get a redirection bug. When I visit the category the post will be showed.
That’s why I want to add a action hook to my functions.php. Is there a possible action in your plugin. Something like… pre_save_modified_post_redirection or something els?

i want to checks if a post or a modified will have the same slug in his permalink like a category slug.
