# Extra data

 * When I display my Easy Photo Album I get a line at the bottom of the of the album
   and then a message “Extra Data”. This is followed by a bunch of code pertaining
   to the album.
 * How do I get rid of this.

 * The albums are at arlingtonlodge.org. There are three libraries. See links on
   the right side. I have found that if I use “full” configuration the page displays
   fine. If I use the “excert” configuration I get code displayed at the bottom 
   of the page. I have one set up on “excert”. Here is the link:

 * If you select “view more photos” the code will appear at the bottom.

 * What happens is that your theme displays post meta (some meta data that you can
   add to your post). Easy Photo Album uses post meta data to store the images in
   the album and your album settings. So when you view an album in ‘single’ view(
   like [http://arlingtonlodge.org/albums/4th-of-july/](http://arlingtonlodge.org/albums/4th-of-july/)),
   your theme “sees” the post meta and displays it. The other pages with albums 
   don’t have that problem because you use the shortcode there. A page with the 
   epa shortcode doesn’t has post meta data from Easy Photo Album because that data
   belongs to the album, not the page. So your theme doesn’t “see” any data, so 
   it displays nothing.
 * Maybe it is a theme option to display post meta. You should contact the theme
   developer to ask how to get rid of displaying post meta data.

 * Thanks for your assistance. I appreciate it. I find Easy Photo Album a great 
   plugin
