 * We’ve run into a problem using PayPal today. If we use the powered by Braintree
   method.
 * This ONLY happens if you visit the site via the facebook mobile app.
 * When getting to checkout an incorrect PayPal button is displayed and the Braintree
   PayPal button isn’t displayed at all. This happens for all devices visiting while
   using the facebook mobile application.
 * See this screenshot [https://www.dropbox.com/s/5514m9ovs2x9mki/IMG_3145.PNG?dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/s/5514m9ovs2x9mki/IMG_3145.PNG?dl=0)
 * The Place Order button should not be there and bellow that that in the Paypal
   section there should be a button that never loads.

 * Hi Edward,
 * We went looking through this, and found little information. What we did find
   is a person reporting [there was an email sent out to Braintree subscribers](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48376485/how-to-use-braintree-paypal-payments-in-third-party-app-webviews?rq=1)
   a while back stating they will be deprecating support of PayPal via WebView in
   mobile apps.
 * They mention in the link that reaching out to Braintree they verified starting
   from February 28th people will not be able to use the Paypal payment in checkout
   pages that are opened through the Facebook WebView, which is what looks like
   is happening here. They were offered an alternative solution that Braintree was
   providing, though it was unclear.
 * We reached out to Braintree ourselves for clarification, however we do recommend
   reaching out to Braintree yourself with this same information – they should have
   a workaround for this. I will post here when we find more information, otherwise
   let us know what you find in a conversation with Braintree.
