Hello AddToAny team and other users of this good plugin.

This plugin is having one weird issue.

The share amount/count stats for Facebook and posibbly for other services too are displayed differently on http:// and https:// site protocols.

For example 2 people share on https:// version of site and it will display only 2 stats when on https://mysite.com, but when 5 people will share on http://mysite.com it will display that only 5 people have shared.

Developers of this plugin should make that all the shares on same page/widget are globally connected together throught different versions of website. Like it displays same count on http://, https://, www, parked domains and etc.

    This would be very usefull.

    Thank you!

Hello @qubeox. It’s not an issue with the AddToAny plugin, it’s that services like Facebook treat http and https as different pages until they pick up your site’s redirects and/or updated canonical URLs.

Check out this previous topic and especially Facebook’s suggestions for redirects and canonical URLs with regard to share counts.
