We migrated one of our siteground temporary website to our dedicated website which also hosted on siteground. It was successful. For some reason, we decided to keep working on the temporary website for a bit to make it better before bring it online.

Now when we decided what we did on the temporary website is good enough and trying to migrate the website again, the siteground migrator showing a message says “There are php files already residing on the selected path” and refuse to generate the migration token again for us. Now we get stuck and there is no way to migrate the content of the temporary website to our new website as we can’t seem to get a migration token.

Anyone know what is going on, and how to solve this issue?

    Hello @williamw80,

We will be glad to assist you with the migration of your site.

In order for the migration token o be generated, the destination folder should be empty. So please make sure you have deleted your old site or use a new folder for the migration instead.

If the issue still persists, please provide us with the domain you want to migrate your site to, so we can investigate the case further.
