# Failed Refund

 * I’m getting the following error when attempting to issue a refund:
 * “Failed to refund transaction. Please try again at a later time.”
 * According to Braintree’s documentation:
 * > If your integration uses an SDK version older than those listed above, and 
   > the processor declines a refund, you will receive one of the following two 
   > validation errors in lieu of a processor response code:
   > Hard decline: 915200 – Failed to refund transaction.
   >  Soft decline: 915201 –
   > Failed to refund transaction. Please try again at a later time.
 * Not much more could be found regarding this.

 * I’d recommend sending the refund ID to Braintree support and asking them for 
   additional information on why the refund is not being processed by the Braintree
   API.
 * The plugin doesn’t have access to any more info than what Braintree provides 
   in the API response.
