    Hi there

Whenever I try to create or edit a page, a post or a custom post type the same red warning pops up displaying the following message: Failed to load plugin url: https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/advanced-ads/admin/assets/js/shortcode.js

So far I could not see any restriction of the website function but it is unpleasant, as the message obscures the underlying areas of the website. Does anyone have an idea how to get rid of this problem?

First, I tried to switch of the Autoptimize’s javascript optimization function. But it does not solve the problem. I also tried some adjustments with the WP Super Cache plugin but also no luck there. The message stays displayed.

Thanks for your support and best regards, Ro

  • Hi Rosa,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please check if an ad blocker is enabled in your browser?

If not, please, activate the checkbox to disable the shortcode button in Advanced Ads > Settings > General.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Dear Joachim

Thank you very much for your awesome support and fast reply. As you predicted, the problem was actually that I used an add blocker. After switching off the red warning disappeared.

    Thanks and take care, Ro

    Hi Rosa,

Thanks for the follow-up and the clarification that the ad blocker was causing this issue. Great to hear that you could resolve this.

Do you enjoy Advanced Ads so far? If you do, I would appreciate a positive review here.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
