 * Hi, is there a way to insert fallback/default GA code when the connection / authorization
   to Google has been severed for any reason? I’ve got the pro version.
 * The reason I want this is I know occasionally the authorization gets un-done,
   and when that happens (I believe) all tracking stops. I am installing this plugin
   on a number of sites that I don’t log into regularly so I don’t know when authorization
   fails and tracking ceases. (This was a big problem with GADWP, which I’m switching
   from.)
 * I’d be happy to hand-enter the UA-tag per site in Lara as a fallback but right
   now I feel like my only option for consistent tracking is to hand-install it
   in the theme footers + via Lara authorization so that my clients never lose their
   tracking.
 * Another option would be for some kind of notification to be emailed to the admin
   when authorization / tracking ceases, so at least someone would know to go in
   and re-establish it. But the ideal would be an auto-fallback feature.
 * Thanks!

 * Hello [@mmcginnis](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mmcginnis/),
 * I have no idea how GADWP flow works, but for our widget, things are different.
 * When you authorize a google account and enable tracking, the tracking profile
   will be saved locally in the WordPress database, and will be served from there.
 * If the authorization was revoked from Google Analytics website, the widget will
   no longer be able to fetch data, but the tracking code will remain intact.
 * The only way to change or disable the tracking code [after initial authorization],
   is from the widget’s settings tab.
 * Furthermore, with the upcoming version, there will be an option to lock settings
   by an administrator, which will prevent your clients from changing them, even
   if they have access to the settings tab.
