    Hi,

I just updated WP version and am now getting this fatal error (see below) when I try to activate the Custom Content Shortcode pluging. It was working fantastic until the latest update…

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /home/highdcom/public_html/mattfricker/wp-content/plugins/custom-content-shortcode/includes/ccs-user.php on line 290

    Thanks in advance

Sorry about that – this is caused by PHP version older than 5.3. I fixed it in the latest plugin update to 0.8.6. Please let me know if that works.

WOW… thanks for your quick response. I couldn’t see the 0.8.6 update, so I have manually installed it. PROBLEM SOLVED. Thank you. I had searched for hours and hours to find a way to display my latest posts on my static front page and your plugin works perfectly.

Great, thank you so much for reporting it – I’m glad I was able to solve it before other people were affected. Probably it takes a little time for the update to be recognized in the admin panel.
