When attempting to activate or preview GamePress, I get the following error message.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Query::is_main_query() in /home/www/extended-replay.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/gamepress/functions.php on line 238

I’m currently using WordPress 3.2.1, and was wondering if I should update it, or if there is another solution I should try first. Thank you.

Absolutely ASAP – running an old version of WP is a major security risk.

Be sure you make a full backup of your site before updating it and see:

You actually should see the extended upgrade instructions – since you may need to update incrementally :
