I encountered the following – Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/ acpscom/public_html/homecare/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 198 * I have tried adding the php.ini memory file update which did not help…. even went has high has 256. I have then came across the Fatal error posting [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-on-upgrade-allowed-memory-size-exhausted](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-on-upgrade-allowed-memory-size-exhausted) I updated the memory limit as instructed but that still does not solve the problem. * Just so that everyone knows I am just good enough to be dangerous at this and believe me i will ask a lot of questions if i do not understand what to do. Megabytes? Kilobytes? Bytes? * You edited your php.ini file to change this value? Not your wp-config.php? Or both?
