# Fatal error: Can’t use function return value

 * I am receiving this fatal error when I try to utilize the plug-in to display 
   an author box.
 * If I enable the setting “Hide Author Box if Author Biographical Info is empty”
   no author box is displayed at all and the fatal error is not thrown. However,
   the author’s bio box (tested with multiple authors) is not empty so it shouldn’t
   be hiding the box.
 *     ```

       ```
   
 * I am running the sparkling theme, and utilized CSS to hide the default author
