# Fatal Error Can’t use function return value in write context

 * A couple of weeks ago my client updated the plugin and it took her site down.
   So, I deactivated the plugin temporarily and the site came back up.
 * So, I am trouble shooting the plugin to reactivate it. Unfortunately when I tried
   to activate it this is the error that came up:
 * Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home4/carols/
   public_html/wp-content/plugins/tweet-old-post/includes/admin/class-rop-pointers.
   php on line 55
 * Would like to know how to fix this.
 * Running the latest WordPress version, latest version of your plugin, and hosted
   on Host Gator.

 * Thank you! I have checked and her site is running an older version of PHP. Once
   we upgrade the PHP version and verify the plugin is working I will let you know.
