 * Hi Yes,
 * I am a newbie to WordPress as well. This is the first one I have started from
   scratch. Wasn’t doing much then tried to update. This is the message I am getting
   now:
 * Warning: require(D:\Hosting\2299859\html\wordpress/wp-includesload.php) [function.
   require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\Hosting\2299859\
   html\wordpress\wp-settings.php on line 21
 * Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘D:\Hosting\
   2299859\html\wordpress/wp-includesload.php’ (include_path=’.;C:\php\pear’) in
   D:\Hosting\2299859\html\wordpress\wp-settings.php on line 21
 * Any help with this glitch would be much appreciated. Thx.

 * – then you’re likely dealing with an incomplete update.
    – try **MANUALLY** updating.
   Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it,
   and use that to copy up all files and folders **EXCEPT the wp-config.php file
   and the /wp-content/ directory.** You may need to delete the old wp-admin and
   wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Read
   the Manual Update directions first. – **Backup: If you haven’t already done,
   always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions,
   just in case something really goes wrong.**

 * It’s fixed. I replaced the settings.php file, and boom. Yay!
