# Fatal error – help please?

 * Just ran the install and connected to my db, when I got the following message:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_admin() in /homepages/18/d244500880/
   htdocs/wp-admin/includes/comment.php on line 110
 * I’m very much not a coder… anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

 * After searching through the forums, I tried re-uploading query.php to the /wp_includes
   folder.
 * My FTP app’s status screen returned the following:
 * 26 Transfer complete
    query.php – 49807 bytes transferred MDTM 20080625025854
   query.php 550 20080625025854 query.php: No such file or directory Transfer time:
   00:00:06
 * This is all basically an alien language to me, but “no such file or directory”
   seems clear enough. Thoughts?

 * deleted everything and reinstalled. Second time was the charm…
