# Fatal Error in PHP8.0

 * Hi, I upgraded my webserver from PHP7.4 to 8, and it caused a fatal error when
   trying to view the SES plugin settings page in WordPress. Also the plugin itself
   no longer sends emails when using PHP8.0. This is using the latest version of
   the lite plugin.
 * I’ve since had to roll back to 7.4, but I attached the error as a gist and am
   pasting it here:
 *     ```

   1.4.6).
