# Fatal error: main() [function.require]:

 * I have had to do a manual upgrade and get the following error trying to view 
   the site: Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./
   wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php’) in /homepages/26/d282309944/
   htdocs/htrchurch/index.php on line 17. I am able to get into the Dashboard just
   fine, but that’s as far as I get.

 * I haven’t had a chance to retry the upgrade, but where else would this file be
   if it is in the upgrade files?

 * I have what appears to be the same issue. After upgrade attempt I am able to 
   access the administration pages and everything appears to be there, but when 
   I click “visit site” I get the following:
 * Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.
   php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php’) in /homepages/35/d236091845/htdocs/actforamerica92253.
   org/index.php on line 17
 * I am unable to understand what this fatal error message is saying or what I can
   do about it. And the solution I find on this forum does not work for me.
 * I am using Fetch as my FTP. Apparently I have messed up the file in Fetch that
   would enable me to open the web site. Since I have tried so many options, I’m
   not certain what is where. Should I create a new Fetch folder and put my backup
   WordPress file in that and try to work from that?
 * One forum writer instructs to:
    “Make sure that the file wp-blog-header.php is
   present in “htrchurch” folder.” 

 I don’t know how to do this.

 * i updated a 3.1 version and i get this message “Fatal error: main() [function.
   require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.;./includes;./
   pear’) in D:\inetpub\”. With dashboard no problem but the index page not work.
 * Actualicé a la versión 3.1 y en la página inicial obtengo este mensaje “Fatal
   error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’(
   include_path=’.;./includes;./pear’) in D:\inetpub\” . El escritorio funciona 
   bien.

   wp-blog-header.php’);
 * i dont understant it, because i have others blogs (with older version and its
   works without the change)
