 * Hello. I was updating some plugins on my WP (Enfold) site, and when I clicked
on the “Update Now” of a plugin called GiveWP I received an alert saying: _“Update
Failed. There has been a critical error on this website.”_
 * Now I can’t even see the website. Instead I get a webpage that reads: _“**Fatal
error**: Trait ‘Give\Framework\FieldsAPI\Concerns\StoreAsMeta’ not found in **/
   home/customer/www/sevenfold.school/public\_html/wp-content/plugins/give-form-
   field-manager/src/FormFields/Fields/WPEditor.php** on line **17**” _
 * I can still access the site files through my host’s cPanel, but I’m not sure
what caused this critical error, or how to fix it. Any help would be greatly
   appreciated.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Ffatal-error-message-199%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * In cPanel if you can get to the PLUGINS folder inside the WP-CONTENT folder –
find the folder for the plugin _**give-form-field-manager**_ and temporarily
rename the folder. renaming a folder will deactivate the plugin. this action
will likely allow you to login to the WP-ADMIN dashboard for further troubleshooting.
 * Contact the support team for [https://givewp.com/documentation/add-ons/form-field-manager/](https://givewp.com/documentation/add-ons/form-field-manager/)
for further guidance to address issues related to the plugin.

 * Thank you. Your recommendation worked well. I can now access the wp-admin. I’ve
also opened up a ticket with the plugin team to see why this might have happened.
   Thanks again.
