# Fatal error message

 * Can someone help? I am a true novice. I am trying to install wordpress.org with
   network solutions as the host. I have downloaded the files (into a folder called
   htdocs), set up a MySQL database and used the FTP on the Network Solution. I 
   think that I have done everything right but when I type my URL address for my
   website into wordpress to complete the configuration, I get the following message:

 * Can someone explain to me how to fix this? I am a real novice so please if you
   explain the solution in very simple steps I will not be insulted. Please help–
   I have spent hours on this and now I am very frustrated.

 * I had this same problem. My solution was to increase the memory available to 
   php from 256Mb to 512Mb. I hope this helps the OP.
 * But, now I have a new problem- I set up a user and password when asked, but if
   I try to log in I get a new error-

   stream: No such file or directory in ./admin.php on line 30

   > It’s looking in the wrong place for wp-load.php. If I create a soft-link to

 * Are all the wp-admin files supposed to be at the top level of the wordpress installation?

 * I did as you suggested and repeated the upload of WordPress files from scratch.
