Fatal error on line 134

Hello.

Plugin suddenly stopped to work. Old settings are still active, but I can’t do anything from now on.

When I go to plugin Settings page, that’s what I see: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function filter_var() in /home/sitename/sitename.com/docs/wp-content/plugins/pronamic-google-maps/classes/Pronamic/Google/Maps/Settings.php on line 134”.

(‘sitename’ is obviously my web-site’s name)

Please, if there’s anything I can do about it, let me know.
