# Fatal error when activating plugin

 * Hi!
 * First I have to say this is the best plugin for compliance with GDPR.
 * But I came across an error on some sites:
    **Parse error: syntax error, unexpected‘[‘
   in /var/www/vhosts/proaktivplus.si/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/smart-cookie-kit/
   plugin_options.php on line 84**
 * Wordpress is updated, other plugins are updated aswell.
    What would be the issue?
   This is the second site I’ve got this error.
 * Other plugins:
    Contact Form 7 LayerSlider WP PixelYourSite Revolution Slider
   User Role Editor

 * Please, could you check the PHP version used by the web server?
    Make sure that
   the web server is using a version greater than 5.3.
