# Fatal error when creating post (Help Please)

 * Help me this is the first time this happened, when I tried to make a post and
   a log appeared like this : 
   **Fatal error**: Uncaught Error: Attempt to assign
   property “post_content” on null in /var/www/html/censored.com/wp-admin/includes/
   post.php:808 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/html/ censored.com/wp-admin/post-new.php(
   66): get_default_post_to_edit(‘post’, true) #1 {main} thrown in /var/www/html/
   censored.com/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 808
 * what do I have to do? I’m confused, I’ve done everything including: turning off
   all plugins, uninstalling themes, everything doesn’t work

 * Back up your site first.
   Download the latest WordPress version from [wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org).
   Replace the `/wp-admin/` and `/wp-includes/` folders on your server with fresh
   copies.
 * This should resolve core file issues.

 * I suspect that this is a side effect of another error that unfortunately does
   not appear in the list. This could cause WordPress to be unable to create a post
   object, which in turn leads to this error.
 * My recommendation would be to deactivate all plugins and see if that solves it.
   If so, one of the plugins was to blame.
