Based on the error message some part of the data is changed unexpectedly along the way. From what we have seen before, chances are that a third-party plugin is causing this. I suggest that you repeat the process but this time with all the plugins disabled. You can also try this on another WordPress website if it’s possible. If it worked, then try to activate your plugins one by one until the culprit is found.
