 * I am encountering this error while i try to install hivepress plugin, please 
   provide a resolution without upgrading the php version

 * it’s as simple as that: there won’t be a solution for hivepress that doesn’t 
   involve upgrading the php version.
 * Either you do not use the hivepress plugin that appears to require a PHP version
   >=7.2.5 or you upgrade your php version.

 * Please upgrade your PHP version to 7.4 or above. Then it should be working fine.
