Fatal error while installing Kale

    Can anyone tell me why this has happened:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_normalize_path() in /web1/user56584/website/wp-content/themes/kale/inc/kirki/kirki.php on line 51

    Hey there!

    Are you by any chance using an old WordPress installation?
    The wp_normalize_path function was introduced in WordPress 3.9.0 which was released in May 2014, so if you’re getting that error you’re using a WordPress version older than that.

    Some features of the Kale theme require WordPress 4.8.2+, so please make sure you update your WordPress installation and all your plugins first.
    Using an old release of WordPress is bad practice and could lead to vulnerabilities.

    Hello Aristeides. Thank you for your help. Yes, you are quite correct (version 3.4.2) and I didn’t update it prior to trying to install the theme. I’ll sort that out now. Thanks again for your help. Andrew
