 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_normalize_path() in /web1/user56584/
   website/wp-content/themes/kale/inc/kirki/kirki.php on line 51
 * Sorry – new to this so apologies if I have posted in the wrong place.

 * Are you by any chance using an old WordPress installation?
    The `wp_normalize_path`
   function was introduced in WordPress 3.9.0 which was released in May 2014, so
   if you’re getting that error you’re using a WordPress version older than that.
 * Some features of the Kale theme require WordPress 4.8.2+, so please make sure
   you update your WordPress installation and all your plugins first.
    Using an 
   old release of WordPress is bad practice and could lead to vulnerabilities.

 * Hello Aristeides. Thank you for your help. Yes, you are quite correct (version
   3.4.2) and I didn’t update it prior to trying to install the theme. I’ll sort
   that out now. Thanks again for your help. Andrew
