 * Hi everyone. I need help, I designed a website for a customer, I wanted to update
the wordpress to a new version 4.7.8 and I’ve got a fatal error message: “Fatal
error: Call to undefined function current_theme_supports() in /home/u691482164/
public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 148”. Could you please help? Thank
   yo very much.

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/
themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force
the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (
theme functions can interfere like plugins).

 * Thank you very much James for your response. I just tried to delete the last
plugins installed but it’s not resolved yet. By FTP I saw a folder called “upgrade”
where is inside a folder of the installation “wordpress 4.7.3-2Olqbz”. The problem
should be there, what if I delete it?? I have no clue.. sorry
