# fater error activating plugin

 * After updating to WP 6.6.1 I was getting error with this plugin. So I followed
   the steps in post [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-fatal-error-439/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-fatal-error-439/).
   Deleting and installing the new version. Now when I click Activate I get “Plugin
   could not be activated because it triggered a **fatal error**.” I don’t know 
   what to do.

 * I think I figured it out without looking in the logs thanks to a different plugin.
   I think PHP CURL was not enabled for the site. That was fixed and I was able 
   to activate the plugin. Thank you.
