The links to the images are themselves leading me to a 404 page on your site at http://www.thinplace.co.za.
Can you navigate to the Media section of your WordPress admin area and confirm whether the images still appear in your site’s Media Library? Did you the URLs for the images perhaps change?
Can you try re-uploading your featured images and let me know how that goes?

Yeah the images are still there and they display fine in my media library. I have also deleted the images and then re-uploaded them but the problem persists. Just one of my images seem to work correctly. The header also gives the same problem. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the theme and older versions of the theme but to no avail.
Could you try disabling your plugins one by one in order to see if a conflict is causing the issue? After disabling a plugin, attempt to re-upload a featured image to one of your pages to see if it works. I recommend starting with the Enhanced Media Library plugin.

Okay so i disabled every plugin I have and still no dice. Tried uploading an image every time and setting that image as my featured image but still only gives me that icon, no preview even. Do you think I need to start from scratch? Don’t know what this could be, I even reinstalled wordpress version but still nothing.
Hm, it’s very strange that the images are appearing in your site’s Media Library.
Can you try completely deleting your plugins? Sometimes code from a seemingly inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Do you remember making any changes to your site’s permalink structure or receiving notifications about changes from your host around the same time you noticed the missing featured images?
Ok I deleted all my plugins and it’s working now. I suspected it was the ImageMagic Engine plugin that caused the problem! Thanks so much for your time and advice!!

You could try slowly reinstalling and activating your plugins one by one in order to be sure exactly which one caused your featured images to stop displaying.
If the plugin’s available in the ww.wp.xz.cn repository then I recommend posting to its forum so that the author is able to help.
