 * I would like to request a feature in the Akismet configuration that would let
   the Admin turn off the automatic clearing of the spam queue.
 * I want to collect the IP addresses of the spammers identified by Akismet so that
   I can add them to my .htaccess deny from list. I find this to be a very useful
   way of augmenting the functionality of Akismet because Akismet has false negatives,
   that is to say spam that it misses which I identify by hand. Those spammers tend
   to spam me many times. By hand blocking them in my .htaccess file I stop them.
   I do this periodically, collecting the IP addresses from my spam list. When Akismet
   empties the spam list automatically it thwarts my ability to properly handle 
   these spammers.
 * Please add a configuration feature to Akismet to turn off the automatic emptying
   of the spam queue.
