# Feature request – add_theme_support html5

 * Is there any specific reason why you dont have add_theme_support html5?

 * When I released the initial version (Feb ’13) the html5 option wasn’t available.
   It looks like this was added in WP v3.6 (Aug ’13).
 * Thanks for letting me know about it as I didn’t realise they’d added this theme
   support option. I’ve updated the theme and you can grab the latest copy from 
   Github – [https://github.com/maddisondesigns/Quark](https://github.com/maddisondesigns/Quark)
 * I’ll get it update on the .org site in due course.

 * Figure and figcaption feels cleaner.
    I was about to change the style for galleries
   when noticing it.
