# Feature request: Enable background / asynchronous uploading

 * I believe that uploading in the background on websites is quite possible nowadays,
   this would be a very useful feature, and it would be good if plugins could make
   use of it too. For example it would be great if I could start uploading a number
   of image files into my Nextgen Gallery, and be able to continue navigating around
   my admin area or my frontend without interrupting the upload process.
 * I guess that it would be necessary for navigation around the page to be done 
   with ajax, I guess a url location change would interrupt any kind of upload no
   matter what?
