# Feature Request: Group Scripts & CSS by Plugin

 * Hello,
 * I am exploring the benefits of your plugin and wonder if I am overlooking this
   feature or if it would be feasible to add it?
 * When inspecting the list of items that can be disabled, it would be AWESOME if
   they were grouped by the plugin that is using them.
 * That would help assure that ones which are needed are not disabled due to lack
   of user understanding of their purpose or plugin relationship.
 * For example, if all the scripts and CSS, etc, related to a mapping plugin were
   grouped by the mapping plugins name so they could be selected all at once, that
   would make it very easy to deactivate the exact items without accidentally deactivating
   some used by other plugins. It is easy for a user to know which pages DO or DO
   NOT have a map on them, but it is not so easy for a user to know which various
   files are related only to a mapping plugin and thus may deactivate the wrong 
   ones as a result.
 * Grouping by plugin or by the originator/caller of the script or css file, etc.
   would be AWESOME and make it very quick to add the benefits of your plugin to
   a site. (FYI: the Perffmatters plugin groups them as described)
 * Thanks for considering this feature in your future development pipeline or pointing
   me to in the right direction to find it if it is already incorporated.

   be the next one in the list of supported layouts for showing up the CSS & JS 
   files and it will be available in the Lite version of the plugin most likely 
   by default. I had it in mind for a while and you’re not the only one requesting
   it.
 * I get your point as sometimes, people unload by mistake the wrong files and blame
   the plugin for breaking their website due to their mistake. I know, it can be
   tricky to disable the right assets, but it’s also rewarding in terms of speed
   when everything is done through trial and error (for experienced users/developers,
   there’s often no trial and error as they know exactly what to unload) with “Test
   Mode” enabled, since this feature will ONLY break the front-end view for YOU (
   the logged-in administrator) while you’re debugging this, while the guests and
   other logged-in users will load the website as if AssetCleanUp is not even active,
   thus there’s no way any page functionality will be broken.

   it. I’ll also mention it in the plugin’s changelog.

 * [@soobahkdo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/soobahkdo/) As promised, the
   latest release, 1.2.9.3 has a new option on the “Assets List Layout” drop-down(“
   Settings” page) that allows you to sort the CSS & JS by locations (including “
   plugins” area). In time, the list layout will be improved, depending on the users’
   requests. Happy testing!
