Feature request in “Banner Settings”

    Dear developers

    After enforcing your new update, I forgot about my bad habit of changing plugin’s code myself. Of course my code changes got overwritten as they should be. Now I want to ask for one feature, which I coded myself in your plugin. I rewrote it now, so check out our website to understand what I mean.

    To make the banner a little more apparent, I added a little margin under the banner to make it “float” up from the bottom (resp. the top). One notices the banner much more, because the background flows under it as well. I added the option in the *-nf.css under “#moove_gdpr_cookie_info_bar {“.

    That would be a great feature to set in the “Banner settings” options, directly under “Cookie Banner position”. E.g. “Hover above/under the page’s edge (in px)”

    Thanks for using our plugin and for your comments.

    As you mention in your post, we would strongly recommend that you DO NOT change the plugins files in the future as any custom changes will always be overwritten with the next update.

    If you’d like to customise our plugin, you can use the following:

    1) Custom hooks
    2) CUSTOM LAYOUT
    You can create your own custom front-end layout of the Cookie Settings Screen.
    Simply copy the “gdpr-modules” folder from the plugin directory to your theme directory.
    If you do this, your changes will be retained even if you update the plugin in future.

    Any customisation should be implemented by experienced developers only.
