 * As I’m just busy putting the same seven bits of customization into place for
   35 websites hosted with WPMU, I wonder if it might be possible to have this plugin
   multisite compatible in future version.

 * Hi Andreas,
 * first of all, the plugin works fine in multisite environments and supports all
   general multisite features e.g. network activate and so on. Plugin options are
   in general considered to be set differently on each blog according to the individual
   needs of the blog owner. Replicating all options in the network_admin_menu would
   be a lot of work and it still would need additional options to either override
   local settings in general or just having it as a default, if no individual setting
   is set. So in the end we would need to create each option twice – normally and
   as a global setting.
 * To be honest, at the moment I’m not certain, if we will ever be implementing
   additional global settings for the plugin, since the use cases for it are quite
   special and it would take up a lot of time to develop. Of course we always welcome
   pull requests on Github, if someone takes the time to develop something like
   this.
 * I’ll keep it in mind though, maybe I can think of a way to change the default
   settings of the plugin, without all the hassle of the global options.
 * Cheers,
    JP

 * Hi JP,
 * I can see your point and just decided to take shortcut by inserting the shortcode
   via functions.php. Regarding the shortcode, there is a minor mistake on the plugin’s
   help page: The example for the services selector says [shariff theme=”facebook
   |twitter|mailform”], but only [services=”facebook|twitter|mailform] can avoid
   a confusion with [shariff theme=”round”].
 * Should you ever decide to publish a “premium” version, I’d be ready to pay for
   the plugin.
 * Greetings,
    Andreas

 * Hi Andreas,
 * that shortcut is a good idea!
 * Funny that no one noticed this obvious mistake on the help tab. Of course it
   has to be services and not theme. That wouldn’t make much sense. Thanks for noticing
   and reporting! Will be fixed with the next release.
 * We like the idea of Shariff and just want people to be able to include share
   buttons that respect the privacy of their visitors. So this is just a project
   in our spare time and therefore we won’t publish a premium version – donations
   are welcome though.

 * Yeah, well, trouble with donations is they let the financial department go ballistic.
   As I’m using a lot of plugins on company sites, I simply don’t have the possibility
   to donate. But I can spend a lot of money on scripts to buy.

 * I can only imagine. Our financial departments always hates it, if I buy stuff
   like this and they never get a real invoice. 😉
 * Anyways, no problem. Like I said, we are not here for the money.
