Feature request: Put submit status next to submit button

I often receive multiple copies of the same message from my customers because they keep hitting the submit button. Some even say in the message they have no idea if the message is going through. The reason they do this is because the status is displayed below the submit button, which often ends up being off the screen. Please shorten the submit status text and move it to be next to the submit button, which guarantees they will always see it.
