Feature Request: Use separate configuration page
-
Hi RavanH,
This is a small non-urgent suggestion to improve the plugin. I think xml-sitemap-feed would benefit from having its own page within WordPress for making configurations.
Right now, you configure xml-sitemap-feed by going to
Settings > Reading. But there are so many configurations to make (when Google News is checked) that xml-sitemap-feed seems somewhat of a bad neighbor by adding so many things to a default WordPress settings page. What other plugins do when they have a large amount of configurations, is create a separate page underneath Settings, for example
Settings > XML Sitemap Feed. This makes it clear that the settings apply to the plugin, and it keeps the WordPress Reading page neater.I hope that helps! Again, non-urgent and just in the interest of making the plugin better.
