Featured Content not changing

I am using code from a google image in my google drive. I have published it to the web, copied and pasted the code in the featured content box after clicking on ‘appearance. I click update and still no change.
The code looks like the same code I used before which was also pulled from a google image off of google drive.
Does anyone know what steps I am missing?
Am i supposed to move this image to the media library first?
I’ve tried doing that but can’t figure out how.
I am using Responsive 3.6.1
