# Featured image display issues

 * I’ve searched Google and Bing and found no results for this issue. When using
   the featured image option when writing a post, the result is less than spectacular.
   I’m using the default colors on the theme. Here are some screenshots of the results.

 * I really want to use featured images, but the gray stripes in background look
   awful. Any ideas on how to fix?

 * Hi, I believe this is how the Twenty fourteen (parent) theme works. If the featured
   image is not wide enough it shows the grey stripes in the background. You can
   disable the fourteenpress (child) theme to test it.
