When I add a featured image to a blog post it gets cut off at the top and bottom when shown on the front page. I am trying this with the first image shown. I scaled the photo to 1200×800, and tried Regenerate Thumbnails. It is still bing cut off. How can I fix this so that the entire image shows?

Your original images are not 1200×800 – for example this one: http://luxebudget.blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/amazon.png It is more of a portrait mode image.

The default theme thumbnail size is what you see on our demo. However, if you wish to change it for your website, we recommend this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

Please install and activate it and then change the thumbnail size to what you prefer.

After doing that, I do suggest regenerating all thumbnails so that they all show up uniformly across the website.
