I am using Posts for Page v2.1, and here is my shortcode: * [posts-for-page order_by=”date” order=”DESC” num=”10″ use_wp_excerpt=”true” read_more =” »” hide_post_title=”false”] * I am having trouble displaying images in the thumbnail. Some images I want to display are rectangular, and although I have WP set to not force the thumbnail to be square in the Settings | Media, they keep displaying that way. I unchecked‘ Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)’, although it still has 150 x 150. * When I upload the image, it looks rectangular as it should & the dimensions are 150 x 88, but not when I insert it into the Featured Image. The Featured Image enlarges the image & takes the middle of it, cropping the rest off. * This may not have anything to do with the plug-in, but I was wondering if you have any suggestions or if there is a setting/customization in the plugin that might help? Yes, it’s vahi.org. This page has the thumbnails. * I sort of figured it out, but it still doesn’t work exactly as I was hoping. I was able to modify the thumbnail of some of the graphics, but some graphics we want to use as thumbnails are vertical rectangles. So, by using the force_image_width =”150″, that fixes the rectangular thumbnail images that we want to use that are horizontal. But I can’t use force_image_height=”150″ at the same time b/c then it forces the thumbnail to be square & crops it. Basically, I want to be able to shrink the image to fit into a 150 x 150 thumbnail, regardless of whether it is horizontal or vertical. Does that make sense? * For example, you can look at the Barefoot Mountain Farms post on vahi.org. If you click through, you’ll see the graphic that I really want to display.
