In the settings I have ‘check “don’t get URL from post content” option, in the post editor, by default’ set to ‘ON’ as well as ‘use the found image/video as featured image/ video’. There are occasions when WordPress Automatic adds a post from an RSS feed that it uses the wrong image. In this case I remove the wrong image from the post and provide a link to the correct one.All of my posts are scheduled posts – for a time shortly after midnight of the next day.In this process, almost all of the posts where I have manually changed the image revert back to the original( wrong) image by the time the post status changes from scheduled to posted.
